Who handles your data

be + cultured (Ser + Culto) is an app by Luis Antonio Lara Granado (Spanish tax ID 02290074X). For anything about your data: privacidad@sermasculto.com.

What data we ask for and why

Only what the app needs to work:

Of what you do on the cards, others only see totals (how many people liked a fact or did not know it), never who.

Reminders (fact of the day and streak) are scheduled on your own phone.

Analytics, only if you say yes

If you allow it, we measure how the app is used (which cards are seen, whether you come back the next day, whether you play the challenge) to learn what works. We use PostHog, with servers in the European Union, and your account goes with an identifier, without your email.

Without your permission no event is sent. You can change it whenever you want in Profile → Settings.

On the website (sermasculto.com) there are no cookies and no analytics in your browser. We only count how many times each fact is opened per day and whether people arrive from a shared link, a search engine or directly, without storing your IP or anything that identifies you.

Where it is stored

Your account and your progress are on Supabase, with servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

The email with your sign-in code is sent by Resend, from servers in the European Union (Ireland): it only receives your email and the code.

Content is written with the help of the Claude API (Anthropic), but that tool never receives any of your data: only topics and content texts.

How long

For as long as you have the account. If you delete it from Profile → Settings → Delete my account, everything is deleted at once in the app and in the database, and the analytics within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, take away or delete your data, and to object to its use, by writing to privacidad@sermasculto.com. If we do not answer you properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Minors

The app is for people aged 14 and over, the age from which in Spain you can give your consent without your parents.
